Are people really missing the point of this piece? Are they really taking it at face value and not applying a deeper meaning subjectively, and then getting angry that their perception of what the piece is about is different from what the artist has outlined multiple times throughout?

Sheesh. Philistines.

Okay, let me spell out what I'm trying to say in basic, basic terms:

It's your mindset that determines your level of attractiveness, not your physical appearance.

There are people who like every kind of body type in the world. A single, media-defined standard of "beauty" is therefore an illusion.

Given that, what sets you apart from people in that particular body set is how you handle yourself in the day-to-day, and your perceptions of life and how you project yourself onto others.

i.e. your personality

Confidence is therefore key to attraction.


To put it in even simpler terms:

Someone who loves themselves is in turn loved by others.

To put it in Newspeak

You bellyfeel looks are plusgood, then other people bellyfeel your looks are plusgood.</i>

I think that's covered all levels of intellect fairly well.
